On Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, MERIT hosted its first in-person event since the COVID-19 pandemic began. The event was held in the Emera IdeaHUB building at Dalhousie University for iMERIT co-applicants and trainees based in Halifax. They were joined via Microsoft Teams by iMERIT co-applicants and trainees from the University of New Brunswick, Memorial University of Newfoundland and the University of Prince Edward Island. For Dalhousie participants, the event included training on how to fly a drone, organized by co-applicant Dr. Mae Seto. We are looking forward to a time when all the co-applicants and trainees can meet in person
